DIALECTICAL BEHAVIORAL THERAPY
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) aims to identify and change negative thinking patterns, which results in positive behavioral changes. The term "dialectical" comes from the idea that bringing together two opposites in therapy -- acceptance and change -- brings better results than either alone. DBT focuses on helping people accept the reality of their lives and behaviors, as well as learning to change these unhelpful behaviors.
-
COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a form of talk therapy where we identify negative or false thoughts and replace those thoughts with healthier, more realistic ones. CBT helps you become aware of inaccurate or negative thinking so you can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way.

BIOFEEDBACK THERAPY
When you raise your hand to wave hello to a friend, you control this action. Other body functions, like heart rate, skin temperature, breathe are controlled involuntarily by your nervous system. You don't think about making your heart beat faster. It just happens in response to your environment, like when you're nervous, excited, or exercising. Biofeedback can help you gain more control over these "normally" involuntary functions. The idea behind biofeedback is that by harnessing the power of your mind and becoming aware of what's going on inside your body, you can gain more control over your mental and physical health.
